6 x ca. 30 g | Calzone Cheese; (see recipe below) |
4 x ca. 30 g | Pepperoni; sliced into strips |
4 x ca. 30 g | Mild Italian rope sausage; cooked and sliced |

4 x ca. 30 g | Roasted roma tomatoes; sliced in half |
1/4 Tasse | olive oil |
2 1/2 x ca. 450 g | Shredded Provolone cheese |
2 1/2 x ca. 450 g | Shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese |
1 Tasse | parsley dried |
2 Esslöffel | basilicum dried |
2 Tasse | Grated Locatelli Romano cheese |
4 | Garlic cloves; minced fine |
1 Tasse | onions minced |
3 | eggs |
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Place the dough on a floured pizza peel and spread. Place calzone cheese on dough, and then other ingredients on top of cheese and fold and seal calzone. Brush top of calzone with olive oil and bake in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Calzone Cheese Mixture:
Place cheese in bowl, add parsley, basil, Romano and mix well. In separate bowl, place garlic and onion and crack 3 eggs on top. Mix well and add to cheese mixture until well incorporated
