Combine cheese, butter, and salt in food processor. Blend until smooth. Add flour and pecans and process until blended. Form dough into teaspoon-sized balls and place on greased baking sheets. Flatten with a fork, dipping fork in flour if necessary to keep from sticking. Sprinkle crackers with cayenne. Bake at 400 degrees for 7-10 minutes, until just beginning to brown. Serve hot or cool to room temperature.
