Carbonated water, ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, chilled Add a large spoonful of ice cream to a chilled 14 to 16-ounce glass. Add enough soda to half fill the glass; stir gently to mix. Add another large scoop of ice cream; fill remainder of glass with soda.
