Pre-cook meat for 2-3 hours in water with salt. Clean carrots, cut them in little pieces. Peel, wash & cut onion & add with potatoes & carrots to the meat. Cook all together until done, about 30 mintues. Remove the meat. Mash & mix the vegetables. Dot with butter or margarine. Dutch wintertime recipe.
