Let cream cheese soften to room temperature. Add onion, mustard, and egg. Whip thoroughly. Spread cheese mixture over crackers, being careful to completely cover each cracker. Place crackers on a cookie sheet. Toast under broiler for a few minutes or until cheese turns light brown. Serve warm. Yield: 1 cup.
