My oldest daughter has been asking for these for a couple of weeks. Finally made this for dinner tonight. Thought I would share the recipe with this list. I got the basic recipe from the Sept/Oct 91 Country Woman. I have adapted it to suit our own tastes.
In a bowl, combine all ingredients except for wrappers. Put a heaping tablespoon of meat mixture in middle of wrapper. Fold and roll ( just like making egg rolls) Use corn starch/water paste to seal sides. Deep fry for a few minutes or bake in a 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Serve with salsa and/or guacamole. The deep fry method is infinitely better but I chose to do the oven method. Trying to be a good girl.
