4 Tasse | Frozen hash browns; thawed |
3 Esslöffel | vegetable oil |
1/8 Teelöffel | black pepper |
1 x ca. 450 g | ground beef |
1 Packung | Durkee brown gravy mix |
1 Tasse | water |
1/2 Teelöffel | garlic salt |
1 Packung | (10-oz) frozen mixed vegetables |
1 Tasse | cheddar cheese shredded |
1 Dose | (2.8-oz) Durkee French Fried onions |
In shallow 1 1/2 qt. Baking dish combine potatoes, oil and pepper. Firmly press mixture across bottom and up sides of dish to form a shell. Bake this, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Meanwhile in skillet, brown, beef, drain. Stir in gravy mix, water, and garlic salt; bring to boil. Add mixed vegetables, reduce heat to medium and cook 5 minutes. Stir in 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 cup French Fried onions. Place this mixture in potato shell. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and onions, bake 5 minutes more. Serves 4-6.
