Cheesy Pepper-Onion Bread
Zutaten für 16 Portionen Menge anpassen
die Zutaten:
Loaf (1 pound) french bread
1 TasseShredded mozzarella, Cheese (4 ounces)
1/2 TasseMayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 TasseFinely chopped red, yellow o Green bell pepper
1 kleinOnion, finely chopped (about 1/4 cup)
1 EsslöffelChopped fresh or
1 Teelöffelcilantro dried
1/2 Teelöffelground cumin

Instructions:

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cut loaf horizontally to make 3 layers. Mix remaining ingredients. Spread half of the cheese mixture over one layer. Place second layer on top. Spread with remaining cheese mixture. Top with third layer and press firmly. Cut loaf into 16 slices. Wrap bread securely in heavy-duty aluminum foil. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until hot. 1 Loaf (16 Slices); 155 Calories Per Slice.To Microwave: Prepare as directed - except do not wrap in aluminum foil. Cut assembled loaf crosswise in half and place halves side by side in napkin-lined basket or on microwavable dinner plate. Cover with microwavable paper towel and microwave on medium (50%) 2 to 4 minutes, rotating basket 1/2 turn after 2 minutes, until bread is warm and cheese begins to melt.
