Put everything except chicken into a large pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Put 3 chunks of chicken onto bamboo skewers, place in sauce & cook for 10 minutes, basting frequently. Serve with sauce spooned over chicken chunks. Use 1" filet mignon cubes on skewers for beef satay. I like to serve this with white rice mixed with sauteed peanuts & chopped scallion greens. It compliments the satay nicely.
