1 Packung | Country gravy mix |
2 Tasse | water divided |
1/2 Tasse | Sliced musbrooms |
1/2 Tasse | celery sliced |
2 Esslöffel | onion diced |
1 Esslöffel | butter or margarine |
2 Tasse | Cbicken breasts; cooked and cubed (about 1 pound) |
1 | 10-ounce package frozen peas; thawed |
1 | 2ounce jar chopped pimentos; drained |
Measure 1/2 cup cool water, stir in gravy mix until smooth. Meanwhile, heat 1 1/2 cups water in saucepan and heat on high until it comes to a boil.
Stir in gravy mix and continue stirring until thick and smooth. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook mushrooms, celery and onion in butter until vegetables are softened (tender-crisp). Add gravy; stir in remaining ingredients. Cook over low heat until heated through. Serve over noodles, rice or toast points.
