Pepper Pocket Panzarotti
Zutaten für 8 Portionen Menge anpassen
die Zutaten:
Loaves frozen bread dough, defrosted
20 ScheibeGenoa salami or 2 sticks pepperoni, sliced
20 ScheibeMild Provalone cheese
To 6 green peppers, thinly sliced
2 Esslöffelolive oil
die Zubereitung:

Preheat oven to 350 °C F. Roll out each loaf of defrosted dough onto a floured board. Shape into a rectangle, approximately 8" x 14". Saute peppers in olive oil. Layer salami on dough. Cover r with Provalone and peppers, then cover with the second rectangle. Pinch edges to make a package. Paint t the top with a pastry brush dipped in the oil residue left from the peppers. If desired, cut "package" in half for easier handling. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 35 minutes. Slice to desired size. This can be made a day ahead. Cover and refrigerate until you are ready to bake it. Serves 8-10 as a snack or 25 as an appetizer. Typed in MMformat by cjhartlin@msn.com
