1/2 x ca. 450 g | Flank steak |
2 Esslöffel | sesame seeds |
2 Esslöffel | sesame oil |
2/3 Tasse | Kikkoman Lite Soy Sauce |
4 | green onions thinly sliced |
2 | cloves garlic crushed |
1/4 Tasse | sugar |
1 Esslöffel | ginger ground |
1/4 Tasse | sherry dry |
1/2 Teelöffel | pepper |
Freeze steak partially; cut diagonally across the grain into 1/8 inch thick slices. Bake sesame seeds in a shallow pan at 350°F, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes or until toasted. Cool.
Whisk together sesame seeds, sesame oil, and next 7 ingredients. Reserve half of the mixture. Pour remaining mixture into a heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; add steak. Seal and chill 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade; thread onto skewers.
Grill, cover with grill lid, over medium heat ( 300°F - 350°F ) 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes on each side. Serve with reserved soy sauce mixture. Yield: 8 servings. * For four main dish servings, serve with reserved marinade over rice. Typed in MMformat by cjhartlin@email. Msn. Com
