Combine crumbs, baking powder and salt. Fold sugar into egg whites. Fold crumb mixture, dates, nuts and vanilla into whites. Pour into greased 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Serve with generous dollops of whipped cream.
