Cook beef, onion and garlic in skillet until meat is browned and the onion is translucent, crumbling meat. Drain and add tomatoes and the next 8 ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stir occasionally. Cook the nuts in skillet over medium-high heat until toasted. Sprinkle the almonds over the meat mixture. **You can serve this over rice or as a filling for tacos or burritos, also makes a nice pita bread filling.
