Preheat the oven to 200 C.
Place the flour, sauce mix and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Knead gently until the mixture forms a ball. If necessary, add a little milk.
Alternatively, place the ingredients in a food processor, adding a little milk if required, and process until the mixture forms a ball.
Roll teaspoons of the dough into balls.
Combine the parmesan cheese and poppy seeds in a shallow bowl.
Roll the dough in the cheese mixture, then place on an ungreased oven tray.
Press down firmly with a fork to flatten the biscuits.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
Serve with Smoked Salmon and Tangy Cheese and Bacon dips.
Smoked Salmon Dip:
Combine 1 can Nestle Reduced Cream, 1 packet Maggi Onion Soup Mix and 1 teaspoon lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well, then stir in 2-3 tablespoons very finely chopped smoked salmon and 1 tablespoon chopped parsley. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
Tangy Cheese & Bacon Dip:
Prepare 1 packet Maggi Cheese & Bacon Dip Mix following the packet directions, then stir in 1-2 teaspoons whole seed mustard.
Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
