1 Esslöffel | vegetable oil |
3/4 Tasse | onions sliced |
1 Tasse | Diced red apples |
3 Tasse | green cabbage shredded |
1 Tasse | chicken broth |
1 x ca. 450 g | Prepared pork sausage; chopped |
1 Esslöffel | Bayou Blast; see * Note |

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large skillet heat oil with onions and apples over medium heat; sweat until onions are tender, about 5 minutes. Fold in cabbage and toss well. Add broth, sausages and season to taste with Bayou Blast. Cook just until cabbage wilts. Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Bake until hot and golden-brown, about 25 minutes. This recipe yields 8 servings.
