1 | Jar marinated artichoke hearts, (6 ounce) |
1/3 Tasse | onion finely chopped |
1/2 Teelöffel | Pressed garlic |
1 gross | egg beaten |
1 Tasse | bread crumbs soft |
1/4 Tasse | milk |
1 Teelöffel | salt |
1 x ca. 450 g | Ground beef chuck |
16 | Cubes Monterey Jack or Mozzarella cheese 1/2" |
1 Dose | Pizza sauce; (10 1/2 ounce) |
Drain artichoke hearts and reserve oil. Place onion, garlic and 1 tablespoon reserved artichoke oil in a one cup measure. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at high (100%) until onion is tender; 2 to 3 minute& Combine with egg, crumbs, milk, salt and mix well. Add beef and mix thoroughly. Shape into 16 balls about 11/2 inches in diameter, shaping each around a cube of cheese. Place in a single layer in a 1 2 x 8 rectangular dish, or a 10 inch square casserole. Microwave at high (100%) 6 to 8 minutes, rearranging after half the cooking time. Drain. Pour pizza sauce and remaining artichoke oil over meat balls. Cover. Microwave at high (100%) 6 to 8 minutes, rearranging after half the cooking time. Add artichoke hearts, cover. Microwave at high (100%) 3 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
