2 Esslöffel | Lime or lemon juice |
1/4 Teelöffel | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
4 | Salmon steaks; fresh or frozen, 1-inch thick |
| *Cucmber Sauce* |
1 Tasse | Lowfat or nonfat yogurt |
1/4 Teelöffel | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
1 Tasse | cucumber chopped |
1 Esslöffel | Snipped fresh dill Or 1 teaspoon dried dill weed |
Combine lime juice and Tabasco® sauce. To bake, place salmon steaks in shallow baking dish. Brush lime juice over steaks. Bake in 350°F. oven 25 to 30 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork. To broil, place salmon steaks on greased broiler rack. Brush lime juice over steaks. Place in pre-heated broiler 4 inches from heat. Broil 15 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork. If desired, garnish with lime or lemon slices.
Serve with Cucumber Sauce. Blend together yogurt and Tabasco® Sauce. Stir in cucumber and dill. Makes approximately 2 cups.
